Component

Special Service Tool (SST)-Break Out Box (Used For Voltage Pin Tests):





INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector.
2. Connect the Special Service Tool (SST) "Break Out Box" to the PCM.
3. Turn the ignition switch On.
4. Check the voltage at terminal 47 with a voltmeter.


Throttle Position Sensor Test Specifications:





5. Rotate the throttle linkage by hand and verify that the voltage is within specification. Refer to figure for specifications.
6. If not as specified, replace the Throttle Position Sensor.

NOTE: The Throttle Position Sensor is not adjustable.
