Power Circuits

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Mazda B3000 and 1994 Mazda B2300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage between PCM terminal No. 1 (constant battery power) and ground. Check for battery voltage at terminals No. 37 and 57 with ignition on. If battery voltage is not present, power is not being supplied from EEC power relay. See CIRCUIT TEST B in TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
