Hydraulic System Test

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Ensure all wheels are off ground. Shift transaxle into Neutral. Release parking brake. Rotate wheels by hand and check for brake drag.
  2. Using a jumper wire, connect terminals TBS and GND of Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . DLC is located in left rear side of engine compartment. See Figure . Depress brake pedal. Ensure right front wheel will not turn.
  3. With brake pedal still depressed, turn ignition switch to ON position. Brake should release and wheel should rotate freely for approximately .5 second when pressure-reduction operates. Check remaining wheels in order: left front, right rear and left rear. Replace hydraulic unit as necessary.
