Electronic Brake Control Module: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove scuff plate and side trim below righthand side of dash, Fig. 148.

2. Turn ignition switch to the Off position, then connect ABS control unit connector to the ABS tester at the harness side.
3. If tester does not operate, check the fuse, ignition switch and circuit, then the main relay electrical connections from control unit.
4. When checking each control unit terminal, use only very thin pins to prevent damage to terminals.
