Traction Control System

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1996 Mazda Millenia and 1995 Mazda Millenia. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Traction Control System (TCS) is activated when ignition switch is turned on. To turn TCS off, depress TCS OFF switch located near bottom left of transaxle shift lever. Depressing TCS OFF switch again will activate TCS. When TCS is switched off, TCS OFF indicator light will illuminate. When TCS is regulating engine torque, TCS warning light will flash. If TCS warning light and TCS OFF indicator light stays on after engine is started, a fault in TCS has been detected.

CAUTION: See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
