Component Tests and General Diagnostics

PCM Location:




INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the PCM connector.
2. Connect the Special Service Tool SST (104 pin breakout box) between vehicle harness and PCM.
3. Measure the voltage at each terminal with a voltmeter.
4. If any PCM terminal voltage is incorrect, check the related input or output devices and wiring. It no problem is found, replace the PCM.

NOTE: All values shown may vary ± 20% depending on operating conditions and other factors. RPM values are axle and tire dependent.

NOTE: You can also inspect any PID values through scan tool or SST New Generation Star (NGS) tester.
