Engine Controls - Tests W/Codes - 2.0L A/T: Introduction

NOTE: For information on MX-6 2.0L M/T and 626 2.0L M/T models, see TESTS W/CODES - 2.0L M/T article. For information on MX-6 2.5L and 626 2.5L models, see TESTS W/CODES - 2.5L article.

Perform all steps in BASIC TESTING - 2.0L article. If no fault is found while performing BASIC TESTING - 2.0L , proceed with self-diagnostics. If no diagnostic trouble codes are found during self-diagnostics, proceed to TESTS W/O CODES article for diagnosis by symptoms.
