Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacement
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Replacement:

2. Remove the idler pulley bracket.
3. Remove the dipstick pipe.
4. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
6. Adjust the drive belt deflections.
