EGR Valve Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

EGR Valve Position Sensor Connector:

Inspection
1. Disconned EGR valve position sensor connector.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR valve and connect the vacuum pump to the EGR valve.
3. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance between the terminals as shown in the table.

EGR Valve Position Sensor Testing Specifications:

4. If not as specified, replace the EGR valve.
