(1) Information is not provided by the manufacturer.
(2) Serpentine belt tension is maintained automatically by a spring-tensioned idler pulley. No adjustment is necessary.
(3) Use ND-OIL8 compressor oil.
(4) Specification is with ambient temperature at 80°F (27°C) and engine speed at 1500 RPM.
(5) If replacing the compressor, measure the amount of oil drained from the old A/C compressor, pour the same amount plus 0.5 ounce (15 ml) of clean ND-OIL8 compressor oil into the new A/C compressor. If replacing the condenser, measure the amount of oil drained from the old A/C condenser, pour the same amount plus 1.4 ounce (40 ml) of clean ND-OIL8 compressor oil into the new A/C condenser. If replacing the front evaporator, measure the amount of oil drained from the old A/C evaporator, pour the same amount plus 1.4 ounce (40 ml) of clean ND-OIL8 compressor oil into the new A/C evaporator. If replacing the rear evaporator, measure the amount of oil drained from the old A/C evaporator, pour the same amount plus 1.4 ounce (40 ml) of clean ND-OIL8 compressor oil into the new A/C evaporator. When installing a new cooler pipe or hose, add a supplemental amount of ND-OIL8 compressor oil from the inlet, add 0.3 ounce (10 ml) of clean oil.
