Side Air Bag Module: Notes

WARNING: Loose items or foreign debris placed in seat back with side air bag may be projected toward vehicle occupant during deployment. Personal injury may result. Ensure side air bag and seat back are free of loose items or foreign debris.
Improper air bag wiring harness installation is possible, causing air bag system malfunction and unexpected air bag deployment. Personal injury may result. Ensure air bag wiring harness is properly routed and fastened to seat frame during installation.

NOTE: If side air bag has deployed, seat back frame, pad, trim and side air bag module must be replaced with new parts.
