Dashboard Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the driver-side air bag module. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
- Remove the passenger-side air bag module. See PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
- Remove the steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Remove the column cover.
- Remove the side wall. See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Remove the front side trim. See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Remove the under cover.
- Remove the lower panel. See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Remove the installation nuts then shift the assembled steering shaft in the dashboard. See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Remove the PCM. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE .
- Remove the A-pillar trim.
- Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1 .
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
