Sliding Door Removal/Installation: Notes

WARNING:
  • Removing the sliding door without supporting it can be dangerous. The sliding door may fall and injure you. Always perform these procedure together with at least another person.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear scuff plate.
  3. Remove the rear side trim. (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the cables from the center roller. (with PSD system) (See POWER SLIDING DOOR (PSD) DRIVE MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
