Shift-Lock Inspection

- Turn the ignition switch to ON position.
- Verify that the selector lever is in P position.
- Without the brake pedal depressed, verify that the selector lever cannot be shifted from P position.
- Depress the brake pedal and verify that the selector lever can be shifted from P position.
- If not as specified, inspect the P position switch continuity and/or shift-lock relay, shift-lock solenoid continuity.
