Magnetic Clutch Inspection

Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.
Connect battery positive voltage to terminal A of magnetic clutch and ground to the A/C compressor body.

Verify that the magnetic clutch operates.
- If not as specified, go to next step.
Verify the magnetic clutch clearance.
- If not as specified, adjust the magnetic clutch clearance. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT .)
- If the magnetic clutch clearance is okay, replace the stator.
