Driveshaft Indexing

NOTE:
- If indexing the driveshaft does not eliminate the vibration, balance the driveshaft. Refer to DRIVESHAFT RUNOUT AND BALANCE .
- Raise and support the vehicle.
CAUTION:
- Do not reuse the CV joint bolts and washers. Install new bolts and washers only or damage to the vehicle may occur.
- Remove and discard the front driveshaft bolts and washers. Disconnect the front driveshaft.
- Rotate the front flange 60 degrees.
- Connect the front driveshaft and install new bolts and washers.
- Disconnect the rear driveshaft universal joint.
- Discard the bolts and straps.
- Rotate the rear pinion yoke 180 degrees.
- Connect the rear driveshaft and install new bolts and straps.
- Lower the vehicle and test drive.
- Repeat the procedure if necessary.
