Cruise Control Switch

Deactivate air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove driver's side air bag module. Disconnect cruise control switch harness connector. Measure resistance between cruise control switch terminals. With SET/COAST switch pressed, resistance should be approximately 240 ohms. With RESUME/ACCEL switch pressed, resistance should be approximately 910 ohms. With CANCEL switch pressed, resistance should be approximately zero ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace cruise control switch.
