Crankshaft Position Sensor

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor detects crankshaft angle at 10-degree intervals on all models except Miata and Millenia. The Miata and Millenia are at 60-degree intervals. This provides the PCM with data to trigger the ignition coils.
