Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

The B2300 pick-up & Tribute 2.0L use a Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor. See CYLINDER HEAD TEMPERATURE SENSOR  .

The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is a thermistor device which changes resistance proportionate to temperature changes. The ECT sensor inputs engine coolant temperature to the PCM. For ECT sensor location, see CHT & ECT SENSOR LOCATIONS  table.
