Deceleration Control System

Fuel injected engines include a system to reduce emissions and prevent overheating of Three Way Catalytic (TWC) converter during deceleration, closed throttle and high RPM conditions. At speeds greater than 2400 RPM, PCM shuts off fuel injection whenever TP sensor detects closed throttle position.
