HALFSHAFT - Front: Installation

NOTE:

When seated correctly, the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip can be felt as it snaps into the differential side gear groove.

Position the front wheel driveshaft and joint so the splines line up with the differential side gear splines. Push the front wheel driveshaft and joint into the differential side gear.

Using the special tool, position the halfshaft into the front wheel knuckle.

Install the lower control arm and the ball joint pinch bolt and nut.

Install the clip.

Install a new front axle wheel hub nut.
Install the front wheels and tires. Refer to WHEEL AND TIRE .
Check and refill the transaxle fluid. Refer to TRANSAXLE FLUID DRAIN AND REFILL .
