Power Outside Mirror Removal/Installation
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS
article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the inner garnish.
- Remove the front door trim. See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Partially peel off the door screen.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the nuts, and then remove the power outside mirror.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
