Seat Weight Sensor Control Module Inspection & Calibration

If any of the following items have occurred, perform the seat weight sensor calibration using scan tool:

NOTE: When "Lightly pat the passenger seat cushion" is displayed on scan tool screen, lightly pat horizontally about 5 times on headrest or upper side of the seat back trim of the passenger front seat.

Have 44 lbs. (20 kg) and 88 lbs. (40 kg) weights ready to use. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Select POWERTRAIN, RESET KAM and perform calibration following procedures on scan tool screen.
