Oil Filter Replacement
- Remove the oil filter using the SST .
- Use a clean rag to wipe off the mounting surface on the oil filter body.
- Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring of the oil filter.
- Using the SST , tighten the filter according to the installation direction on the side of it or packing box.
- Start the engine and inspect for oil leakage.
- Inspect the oil level.
- Add oil if necessary. See ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION .
