Front Seat Removal/Installation: Notes

WARNING:
  • Handling the front seat (side air bag) improperly can accidentally deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the front seat. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than 1 minute. 
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
