Hood Lock Release Cable Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • The hood lock release handle and cable are replaced as an assembly.
  1. Remove the hood lock. See HOOD LOCK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  .
  2. Unclip the hood lock release handle and cable from the inner fender retainer and splash shield.
  3. Remove the two screws and position the hood lock release handle and cable aside.
  4. Remove the hood latch release and cable grommet (1) from the instrument panel.
  5. Remove the hood latch release handle and cable (2).

  6. Install in reverse order of removal.
