Test 4: Central Security Module (CSM) Does Not Respond To NGS Tester

- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect CSM 26-pin harness connector (T-410). Inspect CSM module connector and Data Link Connector (DLC) for damage, bent terminals, or corrosion. Repair connectors as necessary and retest system for normal operation. If connectors are okay, go to next step.
- Measure resistance of Light Blue/White wire between terminal No. 3 at CSM harness connector and terminal No. 7 at DLC. See Figure and Figure . If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair Light Blue/White wire between CSM and DLC. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace CSM module and retest system for normal operation.
