CHECK CODE 01 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES

Check code 01 Buckle switch ON/OFF signal
STEP INSPECTION CONDITION DISPLAY ACTION
1 Unfasten driver-side seat belt. (Buckle switch on.) on Go to next step.
OFF Measure voltage and Instrument cluster terminal 2A.
Is voltage 0 V?
  • If as specified, replace instrument cluster.
  • If not as specified, inspect following parts.
    • Buckle switch
    • Wiring harness (Buckle switch-instrument cluster)
2 Fasten driver-side seat belt. (Buckle switch off.) on Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 2A.
Is voltage B+?
  • If as specified, replace instrument cluster.
  • If not as specified, inspect following parts.
    • Buckle switch
    • Wiring harness (Buckle switch-instrument cluster)
OFF Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
