Selector Lever Inspection

  1. Verify that the selector lever can be shifted only as shown in the figure.
  2. Make sure there is a click at each range when shifted from the P position to 1 range, and vice versa.
  3. Verify that the positions of the selector lever and the indicator are aligned.
  4. Verify that the selector lever moves smoothly.
    • If not as specified, adjust or repair the selector lever.
