TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes
NOTE:
Whenever tires or wheels are changed (such as changing to and from winter tires) where a new sensor is installed, the tire pressure sensor's unique ID signal code must be registered with TPM system.
CAUTION:
Do not tilt, bend, or use excessive side force when checking air pressure or inflating tire, or tire pressure sensor may be damaged.
When the tire pressure warning light illuminates and the warning beep sound is heard, check tire pressure and adjust as necessary. After adjusting the tire air pressures, it may require some time for the warning light to go out. If the warning light remains illuminated, drive the vehicle at a speed of at least 16 mph (25 km/h) for 10 minutes, and then verify that it goes out.
