Hood Lock Removal/Installation

Raise and support the hood.
NOTE:
- Mark the hood latch position prior to removal of the bolts.
Remove the bolts.
Position the hood lock aside.
Remove in order shown in figure.
1. Remove the hood lock release cable conduit end fitting from the hood lock housing.
2. Remove the hood lock release cable end fitting from the hood lock release handle.
3. Remove the hood lock.

Install in reverse order of the removal.
1. Adjust the hood lock. See HOOD LOCK ADJUSTMENT .
  1. Tightening torque
    1. 10.5 - 13.5 N.m (107 - 138 kgf.cm, 93 - 119 in.lbf)
