Speed Sensor, Front (4X2) Removal/Installation

  1. Raise and support the vehicle; see JACKING , .
  2. Disconnect the front anti-lock brake sensor wire from the vehicle frame.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Unclip the front anti-lock brake sensor wire from the vehicle frame.

  3. Remove the bolt and speed sensor.
    1. Tightening torque 
      1. 11-13 N.m (1.1-1.3 kgf.m, 9-10 ft.lbf)

    NOTE:
    • Plug the sensor mount opening and thoroughly clean the mounting surface. Apply grease.
  4. Install in reverse order of removal.
