Cigarette Lighter Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the meter hood. (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the table/figure.
    REMOVING/INSTALLING CIGARETTE LIGHTER

    Component/Step No. Component Description
    1 Cigarette lighter plug
    2 Screw
    3 Connector
    4 Socket (See SOCKET REMOVAL NOTE )
    5 Ring (See RING REMOVAL NOTE )
    6 Cigarette lighter mounting panel

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
