Headliner Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Turn the seaming welt and weatherstrip over.
  3. Remove the A-pillar trims. (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the B-pillar upper trims. (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the C-pillar trims. (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove the D-pillar trims. (See D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Remove the map light. (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  8. Remove the interior light. (See INTERIOR LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Remove the screws, then remove the sunvisor and assist handle.
  10. Fold hooks A up if equipped with a sliding sunroof.
  11. Remove the fasteners.
  12. Remove the headliner from the vehicle through the liftgate opening.

  13. Install in the reverse order of removal.
