No.3 Engine Mount Nut Installation Note

    CAUTION:
    • If the clearances A and B of the No.3 engine joint bracket are out of specifications, engine vibration and noise can increase. Make sure that the clearances are within the specifications.
  1. Install all engine mounts and verify that clearances A and B of the No. 3 engine joint bracket are within the specifications.
    • If not as specified, reassembled the engine mounts, according to the following procedure.

      Specifications 

      A: 23.5-26.5 mm (0.926-1.04 in} 

      B: 19.5-22.5 mm {0.768-0.0885 in}

    1. Remove the No. 3 joint bracket. (See ENGINE MOUNT MEMBER REMOVAL NOTE .)
    2. Loosen the No. 1 and No. 4 engine mount through bolts.
    3. Before tightening the No.1 and No.4 engine mount through bolts to fix the engine, position the engine so that the clearances A and B of the No.3 joint bracket are approximately within the specifications.
      NOTE:
      • Slight displacement can be adjusted with the adjusting holes of the No. 3 engine joint bracket.
    4. Tighten the No. 1 No. 4 engine mount through bolts.
    5. Install the No. 3 engine joint bracket so that clearances A and B are within the specifications.
