Key Warning Switch Removal/Installation

Insert the ignition key and turn to the ON position.
Insert a punch in the access hole of the steering column and press the release tab while pulling out the ignition lock cylinder.
Remove the key warning switch by prying the clip (1) down and pushing the key warning switch (2) off the rear of the ignition lock cylinder.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Verify ignition lock cylinder operation.
