DTC P0123 [L3] CHART

DTC P0123	TP sensor No. 1 circuit high input
DETECTION CONDITION	If the PCM detects the TP sensor voltage at PCM terminal 2M is above 4.85 V while the engine is running, the PCM determines that the TP circuit has malfunction. Diagnostic support note This is a continuous monitor (CCM). MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle. FREEZE FRAME DATA is available. DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	TP sensor malfunction Connector or terminal malfunction Open circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 2O Open circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2M Short to constant voltage supply circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2M
