DTC P0662 DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Variable intake air system solenoid valve circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- PCM monitors variable intake air solenoid valve control signal. If PCM turns variable intake air solenoid valve on but voltage still remains high, PCM determines that variable intake air solenoid valve circuit has malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (Other).
- MIL does not illuminate.
- PENDING CODE is available if PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- Variable intake air solenoid valve malfunction
- Short to power supply between variable intake air solenoid valve terminal A and PCM terminal 2J
- Shorted variable intake air solenoid valve or PCM connector
- PCM malfunction
