DTC P2503 [AJ] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Generator output voltage signal no electricity |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM needs 20 A or more
from the generator, and determines the generator output voltage to be 8.5 V or below
when the engine is running.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (Other).
- The MIL does not illuminate.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available.
- DTC is stored in PCM memory.

- Generator malfunction
- Rectifier circuit malfunction
- Brush abrasion
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Open or short to ground circuit between generator terminal D and PCM terminal 2AP
- Open or short to ground circuit between generator terminal P and PCM terminal 2AU
- Cut drive belt off or came drive belt off
- PCM malfunction
