DTC P2677 [AJ] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Variable air duct (VAD) solenoid valve circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the VAD solenoid valve control signal current. If the following conditions are met, the PCM determines that there is the VAD control circuit problem.
- The PCM turns the VAD solenoid valve on, but the current of the VAD solenoid valve control signal remains high.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (Other).
- The MIL does not illuminate.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- VAD solenoid valve malfunction
- Short to power supply between VAD solenoid valve terminal B and PCM terminal 1BB
- Shorted VAD solenoid valve or PCM connector
- PCM malfunction
