DTC P0480 [AJ] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Fan control module circuit malfunction |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- PCM monitors input voltages from fan control module. If voltage at PCM terminal 69 remains low or high, PCM determines that fan control circuit has malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (other).
- The MIL does not illuminate.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power circuit between fan control module terminal B and PCM terminal 69
- Short to ground in wiring between fan control module terminal B and PCM terminal 69
- Open circuit in wiring between fan control module terminal B and PCM terminal 69
- Fan control module malfunction
- PCM malfunction
