DTC P2228: Notes
DTC P2228 [AJ] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES
| DTC P2228 |
EGR boost sensor circuit low input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- PCM monitors input voltage from EGR boost sensor. If input voltage at the PCM terminal 37 is below 0.2 V,
the PCM determines that the EGR boost sensor circuit has malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
