Audio Control Switch Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] , or DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
- Disconnect the audio control switch connector.
- Measure the resistance and inspect for continuity between the audio control switch/cruise control switch terminals using an ohmmeter.
- If not as specified, replace the audio control switch/cruise control switch.
