Possible Causes
- An open in circuit (GY/O), (V/O), (L/G) or (Y/V) between the exterior mirror control switch and either the LH or RH exterior rear view mirror
- Inoperative exterior mirror control switch
- Inoperative exterior mirror motor

| 3 | CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE INOPERATIVE MIRROR

Yes | Check the suspect exterior mirror jumper harness between the vehicle harness and the suspect exterior mirror motor for open or shorted circuits, and damaged or pushed-out pins. If the jumper harness is not OK, install a new exterior mirror. See EXTERIOR MIRROR . Otherwise, install a new exterior mirror motor. See EXTERIOR MIRROR MOTOR . Test the system for normal operation. |

| 4 | CHECK THE EXTERIOR REAR VIEW MIRROR CONTROL

Yes | Repair circuit (Y/V) and/or circuit (L/G). Test the system for normal operation. |

| 5 | CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE INOPERATIVE MIRROR

Yes | Check the suspect exterior mirror jumper harness between the vehicle harness and the suspect exterior mirror motor for open or shorted circuits, and damaged or pushed-out pins.
