Anti-Lock Control

The anti-lock control system consists of the following components:

• Hydraulic control unit (HCU)
• HCU bracket
• Anti-lock brake control module
• Rear wheel speed sensor (located in the center top position on the rear axle assembly)
• Rear anti-lock brake sensor indicator (part of the rear differential)
• Front wheel speed sensor
• Front anti-lock brake sensor indicator (part of the front rotor in 2WD vehicles)
• Front anti-lock brake sensor indicator (part of the front wheel bearing assembly in 4WD vehicles)
• Yellow ABS warning indicator
• Brake pedal position (BPP) switch
• Red brake warning indicator
• Brake fluid level switch
