Trunk / Liftgate Closer Module: Service and Repair

EASY CLOSURE CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Rear package tray lid Service and Repair

b. Third-row seat Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

c. Rear scuff plate Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

d. Trunk end trim Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

e. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

f. Cargo compartment light Service and Repair

g. Trunk side trim

4. Remove in the order indicated in the figure.










5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
