DTC P0222 (L3) DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No.2 circuit low input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the input voltage from TP sensor No.2 when the engine is running. If the input voltage is below 0.2 V, the PCM determines that the TP sensor No.2 circuit input voltage is low.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between throttle body terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO
- Short to ground in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL
- TP sensor No.2 malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO
- Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL
- PCM malfunction
