DTC P2101 (L3) DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSES

Throttle actuator circuit range/performance |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If any of the following conditions continue for the specified period of time or more:
- The motor power supply voltage is 4 V or less
even though the motor relay is ON
- The drive-by-wire driver temperature in the PCM is 175°C {347°F) or more
- Throttle actuator control current is extremely low
- Throttle actuator control current is extremely high
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor. (CCM)
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction conditions during first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
