Compressor Clutch: Adjustments

A/C COMPRESSOR MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT





1. Check the A/C clutch air gap at three equally spaced places between the clutch hub and the A/C clutch pulley.

2. Remove the magnetic clutch. See Service and Repair.

3. Add or remove spacers between the A/C clutch and the A/C clutch and the compressor shaft until clearance is within specification (0.35 - 0.85 mm, 0.014 - 0.033 in.).
