DTC P0113: Notes
DTC P0113 [L3] DETECTION CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES
| DTC P0113 |
IAT sensor circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the IAT sensor signal. If the PCM detects the IAT sensor voltage above 4.84 V for 5s
, the PCM determines that IAT sensor circuit has malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2/Mode12) is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
|
| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Poor connection at MAF/IAT sensor or PCM connector
- IAT sensor malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between MAF/IAT sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 1 AT
- Open circuit in wiring harness between MAF/IAT sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 1 AT
- Open circuit in wiring harness between MAF/IAT sensor terminal E and PCM terminal 1AV
- PCM malfunction
